Easily review, approve, or decline vendor relationship requests to stay in control of your beverage partnerships and invoice management.
If a vendor or distributor you work with would like to send you their invoices using Fintech's services, you will receive a relationship request from them in two different ways:
- As an email notification
- As a new task in your portal account
Receiving both notifications ensures you do not miss the request. To manage these requests, either select Review Request Now from the email notification or directly log into the portal:
Once logged in, the relationship request can be actioned from the Tasks widget on the Home page or within Tasks. Read more below to learn how.
Managing Requests from Home
From the Tasks widget on the Home page, find the relationship request you’d like to action and either select View or Approve:

To manage a relationship request in Tasks:
- Find the relationship request under Inbox:
- Select View or Approve.

Viewing, Accepting, or Declining a Relationship Request
Reviewing a Request
To review a vendor’s details before accepting a relationship request:

Select View.

Review the vendor’s address, locations of yours that they currently serve, and their contacts.

Choose to Approve or Decline the request:

Approving a Request
To accept a relationship request:

Select Approve.

Confirm the bank account chosen to pay the vendor and add a Vendor ID if your back-office system requires it:
💡 If you have multiple bank accounts, you'll be able to select which one will pay the vendor.
💡 If your back-office system requires a Vendor ID, you’ll see a dedicated field where you can enter and assign one to the vendor.

Click Confirm and Submit
After approving a relationship request, monitor the status of the relationship in Vendors > My Vendors. Once the relationship is live, the vendor can send you invoices.

Declining a Request
When you decline a relationship request, the vendor will receive an email notification with the details noted in the following steps.
To decline a relationship request:

Select Decline.

Choose a reason for declining:
💡 Select Other if the reasons to choose from do not apply. With Other, you can explain why you are declining the request. If you’d like to directly discuss anything with the vendor, please include your contact information.

Click Decline.
