The Reporting section provides insights into Split Case fees and Cost Variance to help you manage costs and protect margin.
The Reporting section may require a subscription. If you do not have access to these reports, go to Settings > Plans to review plan options.
Reporting is broken into two separate reports, which include either a heat map or bar graph to help you visualize your spending patterns by location.
💡 A retailer must have at least 10 locations to see a heat map for Cost Variance and Split Case. Retailers with fewer locations instead will see a Top Locations bar graph.
Split-Case Report
The Split-Case Report identifies the cost incurred when product cases are broken. Many distributors charge fees when breaking cases. The report helps retailers optimize their purchase habits and save money by including the following insights:
- Spending analysis on Split-Case fees.
- Split-Case fees based on location.
- Products with Split-Case fees.
- Order Suggestions dependent on low Split-Case fees.
- Invoices received with high Split-Case fees.

Cost Variance
The Cost Variance report shows the products and locations responsible for swings in the cost of goods purchased. You can also see the top 5 products with the greatest variances are and organize them by category or vendor. If cost variances occur in multiple locations, you can view the variance by state on a heat map.
