| Question | Response |
| How do I enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication? | After you sign into the portal you'll get a prompt to set up MFA. You can choose either a phone number or an email address as your method. Choose phone number or email address at the prompt. Enter your phone number or email to receive a verification code. Phone codes come by text or a phone call. Email codes come from noreply at fintech dot com. Enter the verification code and select Verify. You'll see a confirmation, and then you'll be logged out of the portal. Log back in to confirm your method and finish the setup. From then on, signing in will occasionally include an extra verification step. |
| Is Multi-Factor Authentication required? | It's optional for the first thirty days after you get your first prompt. After thirty days it becomes required. |
| What is Multi-Factor Authentication and why is it being added? | Multi-Factor Authentication protects your account by asking for more than just your password when you sign in. Instead of relying on one piece of information that could be guessed, stolen, or leaked, it adds a second check to confirm it's really you. It's being added to prevent unauthorized access even if a password is compromised, to keep sensitive business information secure, and to meet current security standards and industry best practices. |
| I'm not receiving my verification code. | Please wait at least one minute for the code to arrive. If you chose email, check your spam or junk folder. Codes expire after ten minutes, so always use the most recent one you received. After a minute, select Send New Code or Resend Code on the verification screen. You can resend up to five times. One thing to be aware of — if a code is sent five times and the verification still hasn't gone through, the account will lock. If that happens, send an email to support at fintech dot com and the lockout will be removed. Replies usually come within forty eight hours. |
| I entered my code and got an Invalid Code or Code Expired error. | On the verification screen, select Send New Code or Resend Code, then wait at least one minute for the new code. Codes expire after ten minutes, so make sure you're using the most recent one you received. |
| I received a verification code but I wasn't signing in or enrolling. | A verification code you didn't request can be a sign that someone else is trying to access the account, so it's worth acting on right away. Two things to do now. First, change your portal password — you can do that with Forgot Password on the sign-in screen. Second, send an email to support at fintech dot com letting them know you received a verification code you didn't request, and include your name and your Fintech Customer Number. The security team reviews these. I'd also recommend not entering that code anywhere. |
| I finished enrolling in MFA but it keeps asking me to enroll, or my status says Not Enrolled. | After you finish enrolling you should see a confirmation message. If you saw that and are still being prompted, try refreshing the page, or logging out and logging back in. If the prompt or the Not Enrolled status is still there after that, send an email to support at fintech dot com describing what you're seeing, and include your name and your Fintech Customer Number. |
| I want to change my MFA method. | What you can change depends on which method you enrolled with. A phone number can be edited, but it cannot be removed. An email address cannot be edited or removed once you've enrolled with it. To edit a phone number, select your profile icon in the top right corner, choose Profile, then go to Security Settings and Multi-Factor Authentication Management, and select the edit pencil. Please note you'll need access to your original method to verify the change. If you've lost access to it, or you enrolled with an email address and need it changed, email support at fintech dot com and they'll reset the method for you. |
| I lost access to my authentication method. | The authentication method will need to be reset before you can sign in again. Send an email to support at fintech dot com asking them to reset your MFA method, and include your name and your Fintech Customer Number. Replies usually come within forty eight hours. |
| I dismissed the MFA prompt. How do I set it up later? | Select your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen and choose Profile. Go to Security Settings, then Multi-Factor Authentication Management, and select Enroll Now to add a method. |
| I migrated from the Legacy Portal or FMS. Can I enroll in MFA? | Users who migrated from the Legacy Portal, also called FMS, are not able to enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication at this time. |
| How do I reset my password? | Passwords have to be reset by the user themselves. Administrators can't reset someone else's password. You can do it by selecting Forgot Password on the portal's sign-in screen, or from inside the portal by selecting Profile, which is your initials in the upper right corner of the page. |
| How do I add a new user? | You'll need Admin privileges at minimum to add users. Go to Settings, then Users. Select Invite User in the top right corner of the page. Enter their first name, last name, email address, and user type. Those four are required. Phone and title are optional. Select Invite. The person you invited will receive an email that walks them through registration. |
| What are the different user types and what can each one do? | There are four user types. A Super Admin can invite users and set any type including other Admins and Super Admins, activate and deactivate users, manage the subscription level, and configure bank accounts and distributors. An Admin can invite users and manage Advanced and Basic types, manage subscriptions, and configure bank accounts and distributors. An Advanced user can manage subscriptions and configure bank accounts and distributors. A Basic user can view website data only. You can also see this in the portal by going to Settings, then Users, selecting Invite User, and then selecting the information icon next to User Type. |
| How do I deactivate or remove a user? | A Super Admin can deactivate a user. Go to Settings, then Users, and select the edit pencil at the end of that person's row. A deactivated user stays listed on the account, but they won't be able to access the website or receive emails from the portal. They can be reactivated later, and once reactivated they can sign in and receive alerts again. |
| Who is allowed to edit which users? | A Super Admin can update the profile, type, and active status for Admins, Advanced users, and Basic users, and also for another Super Admin. An Admin can update the profile, type, and active status for Advanced and Basic users only. |
| Can a Super Admin deactivate their own account? | No. A Super Admin can't deactivate themselves. Another Super Admin on the account has to do that on their behalf. |
| How do I change a user's email address? | Email addresses can't be updated inside the portal by any user type, including Super Admins — that change has to be made on Fintech's side. Send an email to support at fintech dot com with the current email address, the new one you'd like, your name, and your Fintech Customer Number. Replies usually come within forty eight hours. |
| How do I add a new vendor? | Before you start, your locations should already be set up. Go to Vendors, then Add New Vendor. Choose Explore Vendors to Connect to search vendors already in the Fintech network, or choose Submit Vendor Request if you need to invite a vendor to join the network. If you have locations in more than one state, choose a state from the dropdown. Then search for and select your locations. Select Next once you've chosen your locations. Find your vendors by searching the vendor's name, filtering by Product or Category, filtering by Vendor Type, or browsing the recommended vendors list. Select Next when your selections are complete. Review the selected vendors, the associated locations, and the payment methods assigned to each relationship. You can remove locations or vendors here, and add Vendor IDs if your back-office system requires them. Select Confirm to submit the request. After you submit, it's a good idea to follow up with the vendor directly to make sure they received and processed the request. |
| I can't find my vendor when I search for them. | First, select List All in the Fintech Network to expand the vendor list, and search again. If they still don't appear, you'll need to submit a request to have them added to Fintech's participating vendors list. Once they're added, you can then add them to your location. |
| A location I need isn't showing up when I add a vendor. | That location may need to be registered first before you can assign a vendor to it. Locations are added by the activation team — send an email to activation at fintech dot com with the location's name and address, along with your Fintech Customer Number. Also note that if more than one business operates from the same address, the vendor relationship has to be added separately for each location. |
| What happens after I submit a vendor request? | You can monitor setup progress by going to Vendors, then My Vendors, then the Relationship List View, and checking the relationship status. If the vendor approves, you'll get an email and a notification inside the portal confirming the relationship is Active. You'll also need to complete a final approval of the setup in the Tasks section. If the vendor declines, you'll receive an email with their contact details so you can reach out to them directly. |
| Can I send a vendor invitation more than once? | It depends on the vendor's current status. If they're showing as Awaiting Vendor Approval, they've been invited but haven't responded, and another invite can't be sent. You'd need to contact them directly. If they declined the request, an invitation cannot be re-sent at all. If they're showing as Inactive, you can send them an invite by going through the vendor invitation process again. |
| My vendor declined the relationship request. What now? | You'll receive an email notification that includes the vendor's contact details. For any questions or concerns, you'd want to contact that vendor directly. Please note that once a vendor has declined, an invitation cannot be sent to them again. |
| Why is my vendor showing as Awaiting Vendor Approval? | That status means they've been invited to the Fintech Portal but haven't responded to the invite yet. First, check your Tasks page to confirm there are no remaining steps on your end to complete the setup. If there's nothing left for you to do, contact the vendor and confirm they received the invitation. If they tell you they never received it, you won't be able to send another invite yourself while they're in this status. In that case, email activation at fintech dot com with the vendor's name and your Fintech Customer Number, and they'll take it from there. |
| How do I approve a vendor or distributor request that was sent to me? | Notifications for vendor and distributor requests are found in the Tasks section. Hover over the task and use the Accept or Deny options to manage the invite. |
| My vendor says they can't connect with me. | Contact the vendor and confirm the invitation was sent to the correct account on their end. If you're having trouble finding them when adding a vendor to a location, you may need to first request they be added as a participating Fintech vendor, and then add them to your location. If neither of those sorts it out, email activation at fintech dot com with the vendor's name and your Fintech Customer Number. |
| How do I see and manage my current vendors? | Go to Vendors, then My Vendors. From there you can see all your vendors at a glance, drill into details like locations served and vendor contacts, and view invoices sent to a location along with the payment method used for that vendor. There are two views. Vendor List View shows relationships by company, how invoices are sent, which is the Invoice Source, and how many locations a vendor delivers to. Relationship List View shows relationships by location, along with location details, payment information, and the relationship status. Selecting any row opens more detail. |
| How do I remove or delete a vendor? | Vendors can't be removed from inside the portal — that's handled on Fintech's side. Send an email to activation at fintech dot com with the vendor's name and your Fintech Customer Number, and ask to have the vendor removed. One thing to note: any invoices uploaded before the vendor's removal will still be processed by Fintech. |
| What is a Vendor ID and do I need one? | A Vendor ID is an optional unique identifier you assign to a vendor so you can recognize them in your own back-office system. It helps you keep your relationships organized. It can be any set of characters, and as many characters as you want. It doesn't appear on invoices — it's only visible to you in the portal. You can ask Fintech to require a Vendor ID before a relationship goes live, or leave it as optional. |
| How do I add or edit a Vendor ID? | Go to Vendors, then My Vendors, then Vendor List View, and select the vendor from the table. On the next page, select the Edit button in the top right corner of the screen. If you don't see the Vendor ID column, select the ellipses on the table header to add it. Please note the Edit button is only available for companies that have Vendor ID enabled on their account. |
| How do I download my vendor list? | On the My Vendors page, select the Download button to save a CSV file of either table. The Vendor List download shows the vendor name, the ID if there is one, upcoming payments, the number of locations, and whether services like auto-approve, auto-pay, or Fintech review are active. The Relationship List download gives you more detail at the location level, including location ID, customer ID, payment information, and address. |
| Can I order products from my vendors through the portal? | No, ordering products through the portal isn't available at this time. Orders need to be placed with your vendor directly. |
| Can I create purchase orders in the portal? | No, purchase orders can't be created in the Fintech Portal. They have to be placed with the vendor or distributor directly. |
| How do I connect my vendor data to QuickBooks or another back-office system? | To synchronize your Fintech Portal data with your back-office system, you'll need to add an Integration to your account. Go to Integrations inside the portal and select the Request Setup button in the top right corner of the screen. After you submit the request, the team will contact you about next steps. |
| What does Awaiting Distributor or Vendor Approval mean? | It means the vendor or distributor hasn't approved your relationship request yet. Another invite can't be sent while they're in this status. If they aren't responding, you'd want to contact them directly. |
| What does Awaiting Retailer Confirmation mean? | It means the vendor sent you a relationship request and it's waiting on your approval. You can approve it from the Tasks section. |
| What does Pending Payment Verification mean? | It means your bank is reviewing the vendor's bank account information. This step only applies if your bank account uses debit or ACH filters — it's skipped if your bank account has already been verified or doesn't use those filters. |
| What does Awaiting Live Date mean? | It means the relationship has been approved by both you and the vendor, and processing will begin on the requested live date. |
| What does Active Not Processing mean? | It means the relationship is live, but invoices haven't been processed yet. |
| What does Processing mean? | It means invoices are currently being processed through Fintech. |
| What does Active mean? | It means the vendor accepted the relationship request and invoices are being processed. |
| What does Inactive mean on a vendor? | It means you requested that the vendor stop processing through Fintech. You can send an invite to a vendor with an Inactive status by going through the vendor invitation process again. |
| What does Declined mean on a vendor? | It means the vendor declined to set up a relationship. Once a vendor has declined, a relationship request can't be sent to them again. |
| How do I add a new bank account? | One important note first — only business checking accounts can be used. Go to Settings, then Payment Management. Select Create New Payment Method. Select Manual Verification. Enter your bank's routing and account numbers, then confirm whether your company uses filters. If filters are used, a prenote test transaction will be performed to verify the account. Select Add Bank Account. You'll receive an email about the pending activation, which takes five to seven business days. During that time the account will show a Verifying status. Once it's ready to use, the status changes to Active. Also, adding a bank account does not replace the account currently paying your invoices. You'll need to switch that over manually. |
| How long does it take to verify a bank account? | Activation takes five to seven business days. The account shows a Verifying status until it completes, and then changes to Active. If verification fails, the account will show an Inactive status and a member of the Banking Operations team will contact you. |
| How can I get my bank account verified faster? | Contact your bank directly and confirm they've received your request to process invoice payments using the Fintech Portal. That's the step that usually holds things up. |
| What are ACH Debit Filters and ACH Positive Pay? | These are premium fraud protection services your bank provides. A debit block, or debit filter, requires you to set up company IDs with your bank before Fintech sends a transaction. It works by comparing transactions against an authorized list. ACH Positive Pay requires approval after a transaction has been sent. If you're not sure whether your company uses either one, please contact your bank before you edit or add a payment method. Choosing the wrong filter can result in a bank return. |
| How do I update or replace an existing bank account? | This depends on whether your account uses filters. If your account uses debit filters or ACH debit blocks, this can't be done in the portal. Email bank change at fintech dot com and ask for a filter bank replacement, including your Fintech Customer Number. If your account doesn't use filters, you can do it yourself. Go to Settings, then Payment Management. Select the Replace button for the bank you'd like to change. Select Manual Verification, then Continue on the prompt. Under Current Account Details, enter your Federal Tax ID and an account number from any active bank you've already added to the portal. Under Add New Account Details, enter the new bank's information. Select Replace Bank Account to save. |
| What information do I need to replace a bank account? | You'll need three things. Your Federal Tax ID. An account number from any active bank you've already added to the portal. And the new bank's information. |
| What is the prenote test transaction? | The filter test confirms your bank account setup and authorizes both your vendors and Fintech to debit the account. Fintech initiates a prenote transaction that your bank needs to approve before the account can be used for invoice payments. While the test is running, the account shows a Verifying status. That takes five to seven days. If it succeeds the account becomes Active. If it fails the account becomes Inactive and Banking Operations will contact you. You can see successful and failed bank tests in the Tasks section of the portal. |
| I added a bank account that uses filters. What do I need to do next? | After you choose either Debit Filter or ACH Positive Pay and enter your bank details, you'll get your Federal Tax ID, also called the Origination ID. You need to provide that ID to your bank so the filter test can be processed. Please contact your bank as soon as possible. If you wait two or three days to do this step, the filter test and the bank verification will fail. After your bank has configured the Federal Tax ID, you'll still need to verify the bank account setup in the portal. |
| What is the Origination ID? | The Origination ID is the same thing as your Federal Tax ID, which is also called your EIN. It's the unique nine digit number the IRS assigns to companies operating in the United States. You can find it in the portal when you add a new bank account. |
| How do I change which bank account pays a specific vendor? | This only works if you have more than one bank account registered. Go to Vendors, then My Vendors, and select the vendor from the table. On the next screen, select a location tile within the Locations Served section. At the bottom of the next screen, look for Payment Method and select the edit pencil. Choose the bank account you want to use. If the edit pencil isn't showing, that means only one bank account is registered on the account. If you don't see the bank account you're looking for, go to Settings, then Payment Management, and make sure that account was registered and is active. |
| How do I change the bank account that pays a location? | Changing the bank account at the location level isn't supported at this time. Payment methods are assigned per vendor rather than per location. |
| How do I remove a payment method? | A payment method can't be removed from inside the portal. Send an email to support at fintech dot com asking to have the bank account removed, and include your Fintech Customer Number and the last few digits of the account so they know which one you mean. |
| I use the same bank account for my invoices and my subscription. Do I update it once? | No — they need to be updated separately. In Settings, then Payment Management, you'll see them listed under Payment Type Invoices and Payment Type Subscription Fees. You'd update each one with the relevant bank account information. |
| What do the bank account statuses mean? | There are three. Verifying means a prenote test was submitted to your bank account on behalf of Fintech for validation. Active means the account has been approved for use and transactions can occur safely. Inactive means the account has not been approved for use. |
| I just registered. Can I add a bank account and a vendor at the same time? | Yes, you can add a vendor. The prenote test that verifies the relationship will just wait until your bank approves Fintech's Origination ID. Go to Vendors, then Add New Vendors, go through the process, and select the pending bank account. That test will hold until your bank has configured the Fintech Origination ID, which is confirmed with its own prenote test. |
| The prenote test failed when I tried to add a vendor. | If the filter test fails, the relationship stays in Pending Payment Verification status until the test passes. You'd want to contact your bank for more information on why it didn't go through. |
| Do I need a separate prenote test for every location? | No. If you have several locations with an active vendor relationship, you don't need to trigger a filter test for each one — as long as all the locations use the same bank account and are all under the same retailer account in PaymentSource, meaning the same Fintech ID. |
| What's the difference between regulated and non-regulated invoices? | Regulated invoices are alcohol invoices in most cases. Non-regulated covers everything else that isn't regulated. |
| Do I need to pay my alcohol invoices myself? | No. Payment for regulated invoices happens automatically through Fintech, so there's nothing you need to do to pay them. |
| Where do I find my invoices? | Your invoices are under My Invoices. If your business handles both alcohol and non-alcohol invoices, you can filter to see just the alcohol ones. You can also filter by status, invoice date, time period, and vendor. |
| Can I pay an alcohol invoice early? | Yes, you can choose to pay an alcohol invoice before its due date. Go to My Invoices, hover over the row, select the edit pencil, and change the Payment Date field. One thing to be aware of — an alcohol invoice cannot be paid after its due date. |
| Can I turn off automatic payments? | Automatic payments can't be turned off for alcohol invoices. You can choose to pay them earlier than the due date, but the automatic payment itself can't be disabled. |
| What do the invoice statuses mean? | Approved means the invoice has been reviewed and confirmed accurate by you, and payment is ready to be scheduled or sent. Funded means money has successfully been deducted from your bank account by check or ACH. Released means your ACH payment has been released and is moving to the vendor's account. ACH payments are processed in two to four days. Paid means the vendor successfully received your payment. Failed means the payment to the vendor was declined. This can happen because of errors in banking information. |
| Where can I see my payment history? | Go to Invoices, then Payment Activity. You'll see withdrawal dates, payment amounts, payment statuses, and more. |
| Why can't I see my payment? | First, check the Location filter at the top of the page, and also the filters next to the search bar — those are the most common reason something doesn't appear. If the filters aren't the issue and the payment should be within the last ten days, email support at fintech dot com with the vendor name, the approximate date, and your Fintech Customer Number. |
| How are vendors paid? | Some vendors require payments to be made automatically, and others offer flexible payment options. Which one applies is called the payment type, and it depends on both the vendor's options and your subscription level. |
| What do the payment statuses mean? | Funding in Progress means money is actively being deducted from your bank account. You can see the withdrawal date under the Withdraw Date column in Payment Activity. Funded means money has successfully been deducted by ACH. ACH payments are made within twenty four to thirty six hours. Released means ACH payment has been released and is moving to the vendor's account. You can see that date under the Send Date column. Paid means the vendor successfully received your payment. Failed means the payment was not approved and the invoice has not been paid. |
| What happens if a payment fails? | On a Free account, Fintech will notify the vendor of the failed payment. The vendor may contact you directly, or they may resubmit the invoice to Fintech. To avoid this happening again, confirm the bank account on your account is correct by going to Settings, then Payment Management. |
| Can I resend a failed payment? | No. Once a payment has failed, a new payment can't be sent to that vendor for it. The vendor has to resubmit the invoice to Fintech. |
| Why aren't my invoices being paid? | There are a few things to check. First, confirm that a bank account has actually been assigned to pay that vendor. You can check that under Vendors, then My Vendors. Second, check your bank account details under Settings, then Payment Management. Third, you may need to contact your bank and confirm that payments are able to be processed for that vendor. If all three of those check out and invoices still aren't being paid, email support at fintech dot com with the vendor name and your Fintech Customer Number. |
| I was charged incorrectly, or an invoice is wrong. | If the charge is incorrect because a regulated invoice is wrong, you'd want to contact the vendor or distributor directly to review the issue. Fintech isn't able to change the invoice amount. With incorrect charges, vendors will often issue a credit to your bank account. You'd see that under Invoices, then Payment Activity. If you uploaded and submitted payment for a non-regulated invoice and then noticed it had incorrect information, you'd also need to contact the vendor to discuss how to proceed. |
| How do credits and refunds work? | Incorrect charges have to be refunded to your bank account as a credit by the vendor or distributor. If you've already paid an incorrect invoice, contact the vendor to discuss their crediting process. When a credit is due, Fintech moves the refund to your account. The credit can't be applied to a current or upcoming invoice — the funds are deposited back into your bank account instead. Your bank may take some time to process the credit, so it's worth contacting them about the refund timeline. |
| How do I export my payment activity or generate a report? | Exporting the list of invoices isn't available on the Free plan. |
| What emails will I receive after creating an account? | As a registered user you'll receive two kinds of email about your Fintech Portal account. The first is a weekly operational email. Those give you spending totals for the week, the number of invoices received, and any changes to your portal account — things like new users being added or the status of a relationship request. The second is marketing and industry news. Those cover the alcohol industry along with updates to the Fintech Portal and new product offerings. |
| How do I stop receiving these emails? | It depends which kind you mean. The weekly operational emails can't be disabled or unsubscribed from, because they contain account activity information. The marketing and industry news emails can be turned off — just select Unsubscribe at the bottom of one of those emails. |
| Who do I contact for help? | I can help you with most things right here, so tell me what you're running into and we'll work through it. For the few changes that have to be made on Fintech's side — things like changing your email address, removing a vendor, or removing a bank account — those are handled by email, and I'll give you the right address for whichever one you need. |
| What information should I include when I email support? | Please include three things. Your name. Your account's Fintech Customer Number, which you'll find under your profile in the top right corner of the portal. And a brief description of your request. That helps them resolve it on the first reply rather than going back and forth. |
| Where do I find my Fintech Customer Number? | Your Fintech Customer Number, sometimes called the FTS ID, is the unique identifier assigned to your account. You can view it by selecting your profile icon in the top right corner of the portal. |
| Can I speak to a person? | I'm the support line for the Free plan, so I'll be the one helping you today — and I can walk you through just about anything in the portal. If you tell me what you're trying to do, we'll get it sorted. And for the small number of changes that have to be made on Fintech's side, I'll give you the exact email address and what to include so it gets handled on the first reply. |
| What is PaymentSource? | PaymentSource is the Fintech solution that automates invoice tracking and retailer-vendor payments, for both regulated products like alcohol and non-regulated products. It has five plan levels: Free, Lite, Pro, Premium, and Premium Plus. |
| What is an EFT? | EFT stands for Electronic Fund Transfer. It's an electronic transaction between bank accounts, also known as an e-check, that avoids the need for a physical check. It's used between retailers and distributors to pay invoices. |
| What is a Company versus a Location? | A company, also called an account, is the LLC that processes invoices and has its own unique Federal Tax ID. A location is a site that maintains and sells alcohol purchased from vendors — the physical store where you sell your goods. Locations under one company often share the same Federal Tax ID, though for a chain of bars, hotels, or restaurants the ID may differ. |
| What is a vendor? | A vendor is the entity you purchase regulated products like alcohol and non-regulated products from. In the portal, the word vendor covers both alcohol distributors and any other supplier. |
| What is a Location ID or Customer ID? | That's the identification number your vendor gives you, which they use when creating an invoice. You can find it on an invoice next to your information, or in the portal under Locations, then My Locations, by selecting a location and then a vendor tile. It can be a name, numbers, or letters depending on the vendor's back-office software. It isn't something Fintech can generate. |
| What is a Transaction ID? | A Transaction ID is a unique identifier you assign to each of your payments so you can track them in your own back-office system. |
| What is a back-office system? | A back-office system is the program you use to track and maintain your ongoing list of purchased products — things like Compeat, QuickBooks, or Restaurant365. |
| What is an Inquiry? | An inquiry is a message you can send to a vendor regarding an invoice or a payment. |
| What are Tasks? | Tasks is the section of the portal that tracks items you still need to complete. It monitors processes where a step wasn't finished — things like setting up vendor relationships, adding payment methods, adding locations, or adding vendors. It's also where you'll see successful and failed bank test results, so it's worth checking periodically. |
| What is a Live Relationship? | A live relationship means the connection between you and the vendor is active and invoices can be processed. |
| Close Account | All company inactivation requests must be submitted in writing. Please email clientrelations@fintech.com. Include the name of your company, Fintech ID if you have it, location address, and the reason for turning off your account. |
| I closed my account, why am I being debited? | All invoices submitted to Fintech prior to the inactivation will be paid, including invoices with due dates after the inactivation date. Inactivation stops any new invoices from being submitted. You will need to contact your distributor to ask them to hold processing on any invoices processed before your inactivation date. |
| How to update store name/address | To update the address for your location please send an email to our Activation department at activation@fintech.com. Please specify if this is due to a change of ownership as there may be additional steps if that is the case. |
| My liquor license/permit number has changed | Fintech does not typically store your liquor license. However if you would like to send a copy you may send to activation@fintech.com and we can notify your distributors. You may also reach out to your distributors directly as they may need to update their customer number for your account in our system. |
| View Invoices / Bills | There is no invoice detail visibility if you are on the Free Plan. However, if you’re on a Pro Plan trial, you can navigate to My Invoices in the Fintech Portal. It will show you all your invoices which your vendors have uploaded so far. If you would like to view your invoices and you’re not on a Pro trail, you will need to upgrade your Plan. To do this, you will need to log in, go to Settings, and select Plans & Billing. |
| How do I download or print my invoices | You must have a Pro, Premium, or Premium Plus subscription to download and print invoices from the Fintech Portal. To learn about our plans, go to the Plans and Billing Page under Settings in the Fintech Portal. |
