Overview for FMS for Retailers
This guide summarizes the FMS portal for retailers, organized by its main tabs and dashboard widgets.
Dashboard
The dashboard provides a snapshot of your FMS account, including your list of distributors, invoices, your products and opportunities to improve margins or expand your suppliers.
Specific information includes:
- My Distributors: Displays distributors linked to the retailer.
- Processed Invoices: Shows completed invoice transactions.
- Pending Invoices: Lists invoices awaiting payment.
Notifications will tell you the status of a relationship request and important invoice information.
Opportunities provides insights into price discrepancies in your product costs. Top Products identifies which products in your portfolio are top movers.
New Distributors identifies potential partners to expand your distributor universe in Fintech, and Bank Activity shows a quick view of the total spend and number of invoices processed each day.
Setup Tab
- Add Delivery Location: Allows adding new delivery sites to an existing account.
- Add New Distributor:
- Select state and distributor from dropdown.
- If not listed, use the yellow box to manually enter distributor info.
- Submit request to Fintech Activation team.
- Declined Setups: View reasons for distributor rejections.
- Initial Store Setups:
- Enter preferred live date (minimum 2 business days ahead).
- Provide vendor number, name, and accept terms.
Navigation
Below is a summary of the FMS portal navigation for retailers. Depending on your subscription and permissions, your view may be different.
Reports Tab
- Invoice Detail: Access full invoice data with line-item breakdowns.
- Invoice Summary: Condensed version of invoice detail.
- Invoice Approval: Invoices older than 60 days requiring retailer approval.
- Pending Activity: Unpaid invoices awaiting due date.
- Bank Activity: Reconciliation report of all Fintech transactions.
- Additional EFT Activity: Non-invoice EFT transfers (e.g., Fintech fees).
- Relationships: Overview of retailer-distributor connections.
- Distributors/Retailers: Full list of entities on Fintech.
Tools Tab
- Change Password: Update login credentials (confirmation via email).
- Bank Account Change:
- Minimum 5 business days for changes.
- Longer if debit blocks or positive pay are used.
- Email Settings: Update email preferences.
- Contacts/Users:
- Add new users or contacts.
- Manage access levels via “User Rights”.
- Locations: View active/inactive registered locations.

Quick Search (Magnifying Glass Icon)
- Search invoices from the past 90 days.
- Partial invoice numbers accepted.
- Exact match required for invoice amount searches.
