Newspaper barcodes are available for purchase from Fintech SBT. You should have a unique barcode for each unique title sold.
Each barcode is a unique series of 12-digit numbers that make up the UPC or Universal Product Code. All products sold on Scan-Based Trading (SBT) must have a valid 12-digit UPC and barcode printed on them.
Cost and Fees: There is a non-refundable one-time charge of $39.95. All UPC sales are final. If you do not already have an account with Fintech SBT then you may have to pay by check. A $25.00 fee will apply for any returned checks. Funds will be recovered from any future payments issued, if necessary.
How To Purchase: If you'd like to purchase a barcode then send an email to service@sbt.fintech.com with the subject line "Barcode Purchase" and include your requested product name in the subject line. Our team will review your account setup, confirm your payment method, and detail the next steps for you.
Using Your Barcode: Once you have your new barcode image, you'll want to submit New Store Requests on the portal to get your products setup at the retailers.
