How do I submit a Price Change Request

Change the retail price and your cost for products on the Price Change Request screen.

Please note most retailers require at least 30 days to complete a change request. Before you start, make sure you have the following information ready:

  1. Start Date for the price change.

⚠️The date requested may differ from the date approved, depending on the retailer's schedule.
  2. Retailers affected.
  3. Product name and/or UPC.
  4. New Wholesale Cost (the amount you charge the retailer).
  5. New Suggested Retail Price (the amount your retailer charges their customers).

Step 1: Select Product

  1. Start by selecting your Requested Start Date. This date is required to populate the Select Retailer drop down.

💡 The Requested Start Date is sent to the retailer. The Approved Start Date, found on the Request Status screen, is based on the retailer's schedule or timeframe. The dates may be the same.

  2. Select the retailer targeted for the request. Note that you can submit a request to one retailer at a time.

  3. Use the Search bar to find your product and use the checkbox to select any or all products that will be changing.
  4. Click Next to advance to Step 2 where you’ll enter in the new rates.

Step 2: Submit New Rates

  1. Enter your New Wholesale Cost and New Suggested Retail Price.
💡 Use the tab key to navigate through prices quickly. Many retailers encourage their vendors to maintain the existing margin percentage.
  2. Select Stores allows you to choose the locations affected by this price change. Click the checkbox in the top row to select all stores. If the price change affects all the retailer's stores, you can skip this step.
  3. Repeat Steps 1-3 for all products that are having a price change.

⚠️You cannot submit your request until you have entered your new rates and selected your stores.
  4. Once you’ve made all the changes click Submit.
  5. A PMR ID will be provided once the request is submitted. The ID will help track the request's status. (PMR is short for "Pricebook Modification Request".)

You can check the progress of your request under Request Progress.
