Use Routes to track what stores are being delivered to and the duration of these delivery schedules.
Add or review routes distributors use to deliver products to specific stores using Routes. On the page, find specific routes by using the search bar, the route or retailer drop-downs, or the More Filters button:
When generating sales reports, you will find that a store's sales data now includes details about the route it has been added to here. For further information regarding running reports, please refer to SBT Reports Overview.
Adding a New Route
To add a new route:
-
Go to Routes, then click Add Route:
-
Enter route details:
💡 Route names may contain no more than 50 characters.
💡 Route Start Date is when a route becomes active, or when stores can be added to it.
⚠️ A new route with the same name as an existing route cannot be created if they share the same start and stop dates, or have overlapping date ranges. For example, you can have two routes named "Green Route" if one is scheduled from 6/10 to 6/15 and the other from 6/16 to 6/20. However, you cannot have both if one route is from 6/10 to 6/15 and the other is from 6/12 to 6/15.
-
Begin adding stores:
- First, select a Requested Effective Date (when the selected stores will be added to the route), then select a retailer from the drop-down to populate stores in the table. If needed, narrow down the results by using the search bar, State or City drop-downs, or More Filters button:
-
Select one or more stores from the table, enter a start date (when the store will be added to the route, which must be on or after the route's start date selected in step 2), then click Add to my Selection:
⚠️ If a store is added to a new route but is already on an existing route, a stop date will be applied to the store on the existing route, then the store will be added to the new route on said stop date. On the new route, the store's stop date will need to be manually added. To enable adding a store to multiple routes, please contact Customer Support.
-
Continue adding more stores from the same retailer, or choose another retailer and begin adding their stores to the route (follow steps "a" and "b" above).
-
Once the required stores have been added, review them in My Selection. Here, you can:
-
Hover over a row and either edit a store's start and stop date by selecting the pencil icon, or remove it from the route by selecting the trash can icon:
-
Bulk edit store start and stop dates by selecting multiple rows, editing dates, and clicking Save:
-
- Click Continue once satisfied with the store list.
- First, select a Requested Effective Date (when the selected stores will be added to the route), then select a retailer from the drop-down to populate stores in the table. If needed, narrow down the results by using the search bar, State or City drop-downs, or More Filters button:
- Perform a final review of the route's details and added stores, then select Submit:
The newly created route will now be visible on the Routes page:
💡 The # of Active Stores column reflects the number of stores currently active on the route, which is determined by their start dates.
For example, if today's date is 6/13 and a route's start date is also 6/13, but a store has a start date of 6/15, that store will not be counted as "active."
